ConCal for Claude

Connect Claude to ConCal and ask about your content calendar in plain English. Claude can read your posts, results and brand kit, and write draft posts straight onto your calendar. Nothing goes out until you schedule it yourself in ConCal.

What Claude can do

  • See your projects. Lists the brands or projects in your ConCal workspace.
  • Read your calendar. Posts between two dates: platform, type, time, status and caption.
  • Read a single post. The full post, including hashtags and whether it has media.
  • Read your results. How your published posts performed over a date range: totals, each platform, and your top posts.
  • Read your brand kit. Your brand's colours, fonts, voice and Brand Bible, so drafts sound like you.
  • Create draft posts. A new post on your calendar, saved as a draft.
  • Edit drafts. Changes the caption, hashtags, date, time, platform or type of a post that is still a draft. Claude asks before each edit.

What Claude can't do

  • Schedule or publish anything. Only a person can, by clicking Schedule in ConCal.
  • Edit a post that is scheduled or already published.
  • Delete posts.
  • See billing, payment or subscription details.
  • See any workspace you aren't a member of. A view-only team seat can read but not create drafts.

Connect it

You need a ConCal account and a Claude plan that supports connectors.

  1. In Claude (claude.ai or the desktop app), open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it ConCal and enter https://concal.ai/api/mcp.
  3. Click Connect, sign in to ConCal, check what Claude is asking for, and click Approve.

In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http concal https://concal.ai/api/mcp, then type /mcp to sign in.

  • "Using ConCal, what have I got scheduled this week?"
  • "Which of my Instagram posts from last month got the most reach, and what do they have in common?"
  • "Write three LinkedIn draft posts for next Tuesday about our new Canva integration, in our brand voice."
  • "Look at next week's calendar and tell me which days have nothing going out."
  • "Tighten the caption on my Friday X draft to under 200 characters."

Disconnect

Remove ConCal from Claude's Settings, then Connectors, or remove Claude from ConCal on the Connected apps page. Either stops Claude using your account; drafts it already made stay on your calendar until you delete them.

Your data

Claude only sees what it asks ConCal for while you use it, and only in workspaces you belong to. ConCal never receives your Claude conversations, only the requests Claude makes to ConCal. Sign-in uses ConCal's own account system, and every request is checked against your account and your team role. Full details are in our privacy policy.
